Eiso Kant: Going for the unreachable

Great post...I find that I cannot avoid setting enormous goals and the best way to stay on top of them is to connect the dots between now and then with smaller realistic goals.

I absolutely agree with you Nathan; it's connecting the dots which is the phrase I was looking for.

Thank you for the openness of your Tweets and blogs. I'm finding them very encouraging and interesting to read. I've signed up for the alpha but I saw Tyba initially as 'just another social bookmarking tool'. I now appreciate the direction it's heading and following your development of it. Nice work Eiso. Keep it up!

    Eiso:

A quote I have posted in my office reads -
"No great discovery was ever made in science except by one who lifted his nose above the grindstone of details and ventured forth on a more comprehensive vision." - Albert Einstein

I think it lends itself to your post.

One thing that did strike me about your post though is how much its about you. What I have learned in my statrtup is how much such efforts become about friends, and especially family and how my efforts have affected both.

Also 3 months? it will be interesting when you revisit this article in a year or 18 months

Thank you for your comment. That is a great quote by a great man. You are right about family and friends. However it's a little different for me since I just moved to a new country, so I've just started meeting new people.

However my family does deserve an incredible word of thanks and gratitude; it's amazing how they support me and stand behind me in my decissions - I owe a lot to them. I should mention this more often in my posts - thank you for reminding me.

    All the best,

    Eiso
